Quilt Connection Chicago 

Mayfair Presbyterian Church at Ainslie and Kostner Avenue, 4358 W. Ainslie.
Meetings are Thursdays from 1 to about 5 pm. 

The purpose of our group is to bring people together to share a common interest in quilting and other handcrafts where knowledge and friendships can be shared. We provide members with a creative outlet, a method of stress management and emotional and spiritual support as well as community outreach. 

Some activities are:

• Cooperative and individual sewing of quilts and other items to be donated. 
• Informal quilt help from more experienced quilters.
• Twice yearly quilt retreats.
• Quilt-a-thons: a whole day devoted to sewing and learning new things.
• Holiday parties.
• Occasional "road trips".

Our mission is to "never leave a piece of fabric behind."
